SEKAI NO OWARI has announced that they will be releasing their new single, “RPG“, on the 1st of May. They have also announced that they will holding an outdoors event called ‘Honoo to Mori no Carnival‘ in October.
This announcement was made during the final night of the band’s tour, ‘ARENA TOUR 2013: ENTERTAINMENT‘, on February 23rd at Yoyogi National Gymnasium. As previously reported, the single’s title track will serve as the theme song for the upcoming anime movie, ‘Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Baka Uma! B-kyu Gourmet Survival!!‘, which is scheduled to open in theaters on April 20th. It’s described as a cheerful and refreshing number that has the themes “friendship” and “adventure”.
SEKAI NO OWARI’s upcoming outdoors event will be their first self-produced event. It will be held on October 12th and 13th at Fuji-Q Highland. A special footage for the event can be seen below.
